In 2012 Bremner Design was commissioned to design the template for a new arts publication produced from Edinburgh arts venue Summerhall. The Arts Journal showcased the best new Scottish journalism, visual art and critique. Opting for an unusual format, bleached paper, elegant typography and stark images, our aim was to create a publication with a fresh and different feel, drawing on the Journal's Scottish and international focus and broad definition of culture.
